Volatile Aromatic Substances is a performance consisting of smells, their mixtures and variations. Completely abandoning light, sounds and human speech, the author of the show brings the viewer closer to the pure aesthetic experience of the sense of smell. Elina Kulikova makes it an independent tool for creating a performance and proves that it works in performative art. The smell-tour includes several parts and «plot- smelling» turns that the viewer has to go through. The only condition to participate is the absence of a runny nose and other complications of the respiratory system.
